How to access DV360 without an enterprise contract

Google's minimums and certification requirements price most teams out. Here is the managed-seat route around them.

Why DV360 is gated

DV360 is sold as an enterprise product. That means annual commitments, a certified trading team and an onboarding process measured in months. For a mid-sized advertiser those three barriers are usually fatal.

Google's incentive is straightforward: the platform is complex enough that badly run accounts damage results and support costs. Gating access is how it manages that risk.

The managed-seat route

The alternative is a managed seat. A partner already holds the contract, already employs the certified traders, and adds your advertiser to their platform. You get the same inventory, the same audiences and the same measurement stack without the commitment.

Nothing about the auction changes. The bid request, the deal access and the reporting are identical to a direct seat.

Questions to ask a managed partner

Who owns the advertiser account if we leave? Is the fee a flat rate or a media margin? Can we see the raw platform reporting rather than a summary deck?

If the answers are clear, a managed seat is simply a faster route to the same platform. If they are evasive, the fee is probably where the problem is.
